Adam joined Verity Credit Union in October of 2007. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Idaho in May of 2006.

Originally from Idaho, Adam moved to Seattle in July of 2007. His career in the financial industry began in Boise Idaho with Bank of the Cascades. He spent a year as a Credit Analyst working in commercial lending. His primary responsibilities were cash flow determination and debt service obligations.

“I have always had an interest in business. In high school I worked in a grocery store and a concrete mixing plant. After graduation I put myself though college fighting fires for the U.S. Forest Service for five seasons.”

“I started taking business classes in college and found my interest to be in finance. I was most inspired when I met Harry Markowitz, who won the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1990. Markowitz, who studied under Milton Friedman, was a pioneer in modern portfolio theory. Finance has always made sense for me, it’s logical, and to me it’s about managing risk. I love to watch the market, I learn something new every day.”

“My goal right now is to learn as much as possible from the Investment Advisors at Verity. Experience is the one thing you can’t learn from a book. I have the academic background, combined with the knowledge and guidance I am receiving from Ken, Gavin, and Dave, I hope to have a successful career in the financial industry.”

Adam was a professional Mariners fan this past summer. He also enjoys fishing, snowboarding, golfing, concerts, and attending Sonics games.
